Terms of Service

Effective date: July 13, 2026 · Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. The Service

Cash Allocation Guide (the "Service"), operated by Edward Marshall, LLC ("we," "us," "our"), provides read-only analysis of your QuickBooks Online data to generate cash-allocation recommendations. The Service is an advisory tool. It does not move money, does not initiate transactions, and does not write to your accounting records. All financial decisions and transfers are made by you or your advisors.

2. Not financial, tax, or legal advice

Recommendations are informational and based on the data available to the Service. They are not a substitute for professional financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

3. Your account and QuickBooks access

You authorize us to access your QuickBooks Online company via Intuit's OAuth, using read-only Accounting access only. You may revoke access at any time by disconnecting. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data in your QuickBooks company.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Service only for your own business or a business you are authorized to advise. Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to see, and do not misuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service.

5. Data

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.cashallocationguide.com/privacy. In short: we read your QuickBooks data only to produce cash-allocation recommendations, we do not sell your data, and we do not write to your QuickBooks.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that recommendations will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edward Marshall, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its recommendations.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the Service; continued use after an update means you accept it. Either party may terminate at any time. On termination we stop accessing your QuickBooks data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
